The Flour Mill, Dundee is delighted to be hosting the 10th Acorn Enterprise Accelerator Programme.
Not only fast becoming the first choice base for established businesses and start-ups, The Flour Mill will also become home to the eager participants in the upcoming FREE 20 week programme.
Acorn Enterprise is an organisation that educates and accelerates new businesses and student entrepreneurs. Their mission is one we are very much on board with: to grow the UK's entrepreneurial culture, by creating a sustainable movement that will lead to a fundamental change in attitude and behaviour.
The 10th Business Accelerator Programme starts on Tuesday 25th September 2018 and runs until the end of January 2019. We see this as a perfect fit for the thriving small business culture growing in the Design City.
As entrepreneurs themselves, they have a unique perspective on building a strong business. They work with new business owners to help them succeed. With over 150 businesses already having completed the programme, 75% are still growing and thriving – compared to the standard stat that 90% of new businesses fail in their first year.
Their structured, intensive, holistic and FREE 20 Week Business Accelerator Programme focuses on building sustainable new businesses - they may not employ 1000's of people or have global aspirations - but they are of paramount importance to the communities in which they operate, to the local staff they employ and to sustaining the wider economy.
