Leading Scottish law firm MacRoberts is delighted to announce the appointment of two Partners to its Management Board.

Commercial Dispute Resolution Partner Gillian Craig, who has been with MacRoberts since 2002, and Construction Partner Jennifer McKay, who joined the firm in 2001, have been elected to the Board following the departure of Euan Duncan, who steps down to focus on his role as Chair of the firm. Employment Partner John Macmillan has also stepped down from the Board after many years of involvement with the firm’s management.

Neil Kennedy, Managing Partner at MacRoberts, said: “I am delighted to welcome Gillian and Jen to the Board and I am very much looking forward to working with them in their new roles. I know each will add real value and even more determination to improve everything MacRoberts does.”

Gillian and Jennifer’s appointment coincides with International Women’s Day, held annually on 8th March, which is a global celebration of women’s contribution to the workplace and wider society.

This announcement comes following a prosperous year for the firm, which has seen the appointment of Neil Kennedy as Managing Partner and Euan Duncan as Chair. The firm also won the ‘Property Team of the Year’ award at the British Legal Awards in London in November 2018, on the same night Senior Solicitor Rebecca Barrass won the ‘Junior Lawyer of the Year’ award at The Law Awards of Scotland.
