Easy Easter bus travel

Xplore Dundee is making it easy to get around this holiday weekend, with its Easter Egg-spress, city circle service and great value ticket options.

Service 54, the Easter Egg-spress, returns for the Easter Family Fun day this Sunday (21st April) at Camperdown Park.  This special bus travels to the event from the city centre via Lochee during Sunday afternoon, and with a GroupSaver mTicket for just £6, families can hop on-board and join in the egg-rolling fun!

Managing Director of Xplore Dundee, Christine McGlasson said:
“Not only are we providing a quick and easy way to get to this year’s Easter Fun Day, but one of our new Emeralds, our smart hybrid double deckers, will be on show as part of a display of eco-friendly vehicles in partnership with Urban Foresight.  With the weather forecast for this weekend looking good, I would encourage folks to pack a picnic, avoid any parking queues and take the Egg-spress route to this popular local event!”

Customers looking to go even further this weekend are reminded they can also buy a Weekend Saver, which is £7 for unlimited travel between 6pm on Good Friday until last bus on Easter Sunday.  It means travellers can catch the bus into town and visit the V&A’s brand new exhibition - Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt - opening on Saturday (20th April) and hop on Service 360 to access the rest of the city centre for cafes, shops and more of Dundee’s cultural hotspots.
