LHG Live - promoters of several Tom Jones concerts taking place across the country this summer - have joined forced with youth charity, The Prince’s Trust to raise awareness and donations at each of the legendary star’s performances through text messaging fundraising.

Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE, CEO of LHG Live said,” We are thrilled to support The Prince’s Trust this summer and will be showing details on how to support and donate to them directly on our concert screens. Concertgoers will be able to donate by text at any time, should they wish to, on the text numbers we will carry on the screens. This is a great initiative to raise awareness for the incredible work of The Prince’s Trust and of course a nod towards Tom Jones’ own support of the charity in his capacity as an Ambassador.”

Tom Jones will be performing at the following venues and The Prince’s Trust will be fundraising at each of these concerts:

  • Thursday 11 July – ABAX Stadium, Peterborough
  • Saturday 13 July – The County Ground, Bristol
  • Sunday 21 July – Castle Park, Colchester
  • Saturday 27 July – Slessor Gardens, Dundee (SOLD OUT)
Tara Leathers, Deputy CEO of The Prince’s Trust said,” We are enormously grateful to LHG Live for supporting The Prince’s Trust through text donations at Tom Jones’ upcoming concerts. Donations such as this, and the ongoing support of Tom Jones as an Ambassador, enable us to continue helping young people across the country by giving them the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn.”

About The Prince’s Trust

The Prince’s Trust helps young people to develop the confidence and skills they need to realise their ambitions, so that they can live, learn and earn. Founded by The Prince of Wales in 1976, the charity supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed, struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness, mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law. The programmes offered by the charity give vulnerable young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, helping develop self-esteem and skills for work. Three in four young people supported by The Prince’s Trust move into work, education or training. The Trust has helped over 950,000 young people to date and supports over 100 more each day.
