The Dundee Cyclathon provides your company with an ideal opportunity to visibly raise your company profile in the local community. The Cyclathon is Dundee’s family cycling event which attracts members of our community of all ages and from all walks of life. Staged on Dundee’s 26 mile Green Circular cycle route, participants can raise money for The Rotary Club of Claverhouse’s nominated charity SAMH or for their own favourite charity.
This year the event will take place on Sunday 15 September 2019 starting at 10.30am at Camperdown Park where Joe Fitzpatrick MSP, Minister for Public Health, Sport and Wellbeing and The Lord Provost of Dundee Ian Borthwick have very kindly agreed to join us. The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) works to improve the lives of people living with mental health problems as well as promoting healthy wellbeing across Scotland. Providing direct support to over 4,000 people annually, SAMH aims to represent the voice of people most affected by mental health issues. SAMH will benefit from funds raised by entrants completing the Cyclathon and we look forward to a record breaking event in 2019. Through your involvement, you will be helping the 1 in 4 people in Scotland who at some time or other in their lives will suffer from a mental health issue.
