Become a Burgess of the City of Dundee

The City of Dundee Burgess Charity was launched on 7 September to promote civic pride in Dundee and allow the charity to be a vehicle for fund-raising and do good work for the community.

Individuals who enrol as Burgesses will show their support for Dundee, their pride in its people, past, present and in the future through supporting charitable and social activities in the City.

The City of Dundee Burgesses will hold public and member-only events throughout the year, with discussions and speakers: ensuring that the Organisation and its members play a part in the City's future.

The Organisation will help to bring the City together and promote Dundee through Burgesses who are proud of the past and have pride in the future.

This is a great opportunity to have the Chamber of Commerce represented within the organisation, and ensure that its members get the opportunity to become involved, become members and get access to the events & cross-group networking opportunity.

To give people the chance to get together, and find out more, there is an event at the City Chambers on Wednesday 19th October from 7:30 til 9pm - if you would like to attend, please email secretary@dundeeburgess.org.uk

There are information leaflets available in the DACC office, or you can find out more at www.dundeeburgess.org.uk, including an application form which you can complete straight away if you wish.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Alison Henderson on 01382 217407 who will be happy to tell you more.
