Brightsolid announced as first sponsor of The Circle Academy

Dundee-based social enterprise, The Circle, have announced cloud solutions company, Brightsolid, as the first sponsor of their training programme, The Circle Academy. Brightsolid will fund space for one person to complete the full 12-month programme which includes the 12-week intensive training programme and use of co-working space at The Circle’s premises.

The Circle Academy is a programme designed to build enterprising skills for those interested in doing business with a More Than Profit approach. By supporting individuals through the 12-week training element and for the year following on, the programme ensures effective, well-governed and impact-led businesses are in our society. This is a programme to support individuals and organisations from across Scotland who create a social impact throughout the country.

Elaine Maddison, CEO of Brightsolid, says

The Circle Academy will be teaching the importance of putting people at the heart of a business which aligns closely with the ethos of Brightsolid. We are thrilled to sponsor a place on the Academy”

The Circle’s Academy Manager, Kara Swankie, says
