Your business voice: Which infrastructure projects should be prioritised?

Published

24th October 2019

This is a pivotal time for UK businesses. As it stands, the UK is set to leave the European Union on 31 October 2019. But there are also many domestic business issues that need to be addressed - especially relating to UK infrastructure, energy, and environment.

As a business leader, your views on these issues are absolutely essential.

In this short poll, the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) seeks to understand:

- Your general preparedness for Brexit
- Your views on whether UK infrastructure is meeting your needs
- Whether you are aware of key projects and their impact on your business
- Whether your business is exposed to risks across energy and the environment.

We use our unique platform in Westminster to present your views directly to policymakers and ministers across UK Government on an almost daily basis.

Take part in the survey online https://research.britishchambers.org.uk/survey/selfserve/215e/infra2019

Your feedback has enabled us to campaign for better business conditions - most recently we secured an increase to the Annual Investment Allowance (AIA) as well as auto-enrolment of EORI numbers for businesses to facilitate trade post-Brexit. See here for some of our policy wins.

The research that you support also shapes the policy agenda through the widespread national and international coverage we receive. See here for our recent reports.

Five minutes of your time will give your local Chamber and the BCC the real-world business input we need to stand up for your interests.

Thank you for getting involved.
