Social enterprise to celebrate Fire Starter Festival

Social enterprise, The Circle, is set to celebrate Fire Starter Festival with two events on Tuesday 28th January focused on social entrepreneurship. The Circle are working in partnership with national funder, UnLtd, to host a pitching panel for social entrepreneurs and a launch event for the next cohort of The Circle Academy – The Circle’s practical and educational training programme for individuals interested in running more than profit businesses.

The first event, starting at 12.30pm, is a pitch event where local social entrepreneurs will be pitching for up to £5k from UnLtd to test their ideas for ventures which will benefit the local community of Dundee. Following on from this, at 2pm there will be an opportunity for people to hear about The Circle Academy which will be running its next cohort in February.

The Circle is inviting the public to come along to these events to learn about social entrepreneurship in their local community. You can register to attend the event online here: https://thecircledundee-fsf20.eventbrite.co.uk
