A long weekend break is approaching for city schools, and Xplore Dundee has a half-term treat in store.

The ‘Mini Xplorer’ fare is being extended right across the long weekend - which means children can travel for just £1 one-way, when accompanied by an adult who has either a weekly or monthly bus pass, from Friday 14th February until Tuesday 18th February.

Managing Director of Xplore Dundee Christine McGlasson said: “It’s great to get a break from school, but sometimes it’s tricky to work out what to do with those days off!

“Our Mini Xplorer makes it cheaper and easier for families to get out and about during the half-term long weekend. You can travel right across the network with this recently introduced kids fare - go to the shops, visit the Ferry, or stop off at one of Dundee’s many museums.

“We hope the Mini Xplorer will make half-term travel that little bit easier.”
