Deborah Miller, Partner with MacRoberts LLP in Dundee, together with Solicitor colleague, Meghan Jenkins, based in Glasgow, has recently featured in a new “Bitesized” podcast series, launched this month to provide concise Q&A format updates on the UK Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention (Furlough) Scheme.

The guidance issued by the government has been expanding and evolving rapidly to cope with the changing Covid-19 situation, and, as Deborah Miller explains, “MacRoberts wanted to provide answers in a format that was quick and readily accessible to businesses and individuals on the device of their choosing”. The podcasts can be downloaded via iTunes and other popular podcast download sites, or accessed in video format on YouTube.

The first two updates in the series give a general introduction to the Furlough scheme and cover key points in relation to Emergency Volunteering Leave.

“We hope the updates will be able to help people get quick answers to the questions that concern them most”, says Miller.
