Upcoming STV Children's Appeal fundraising events

DACC member the STV Children’s Appeal has two fundraising events coming up this Autumn: the Virtual Kiltwalk weekend, and their Big Scottish Breakfast.

They are looking for staff in workplaces across the region to take part. Both events can be done virtually, cost nothing* to take part in and will significantly help those in our community who need our help. And both will result in a boost to staff morale and sense of team work and accomplishment for those who take part. Not only that, but the STV Children’s Appeal are offering to generate valuable positive PR for participating workplaces to thank them for their involvement.

The Virtual Kiltwalk takes place between September 11 and 13th. Anyone can take part regardless of their location and you can choose to walk, run or cycle any distance they please. What’s more, the generous Hunter Foundation will add 50% to your fundraising total.

The Big Scottish Breakfast takes place on or around October 16th. Simply gather your colleagues together, virtually or within social distancing guidelines, eat breakfast together, have fun and raise money for the 1 in 4 children who often go to school hungry. Sign up now and get your free toolkit and resources to make the most of your breakfast event.
