Job opportunity with NHS Tayside Workplace/HWL team

We require an individual who has relevant current health improvement experience at an operational level and qualifications in health promotion/improvement/public health.

Working in the Workplace Team the post holder will contribute to the development and implementation of the Healthy Working Lives Programme and Workplace team initiatives within workplaces (including NHS Tayside) throughout Tayside.  The post holder will be required to assist workplaces in the development of health improvement initiatives and deliver topic based training.  The post will be based at Kings Cross Hospital in Dundee.

Applicants should be educated to degree level, or equivalent, and have a postgraduate diploma (or equivalent experience) in public health/health promotion.  Excellent communication and influencing skills combined with knowledge of workplace health and wellbeing issues are essential for this post.

Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers

Hours of work are: 22.5 per week.  Working days Monday-Friday are negotiable; flexi-time is offered.
