After being asked many times to talk about her career path from science into animation, Dr. Mhairi Towler, Founder and CEO of science animation and training company Vivomotion (www.vivomotion.co.uk) decided it was time to share some of the other interesting career stories that she knew about from her own network.
Mhairi said:"I thought to myself, I know a lot of people working in various roles, who started off life with a science degree. It would be good to share their stories to give young people an insight into the different careers that a degree in science can lead to, so I set about investigating how to create a podcast."
Luckily for Mhairi, another chamber member Kerr Mathieson of Audio Outsource turned out to be the perfect partner to bring her vision to reality. Kerr has produced many podcasts and talked Mhairi through the process step by step. Wendy Maltman Founder and Creative Director of The Malting House Graphic Design Studio created the graphics to advertise the series. This project exemplifies a very nice local collaboration with members of The Chamber.
