Made In Scotland Engineering/Technology Award Winner

Dundee based SP Automation & Robotics, scooped an award at last week's Made in Scotland Awards.

The company was recognised as Engineering/Technology Company of the Year.

This award was for a Scottish based engineering or technology company involved in the manufacturing supply chain, which demonstrated its ability to innovate and make an impact in the market it operates in.

Commenting on the ward win, SP Automation & Robotics Firector, Roy Henderson said: "We are delighted to have received the award and to be recognised for our success. Our company is a trully innovative business, and what made it even more special was having a table full of some of our team members, which allowed them to also embrace the recognition. After all it is these people who help make us the siccess that we are and deserve the recognition also."

Back for its sixth year, the Business Insider Made in Scotland Awards in partnership with the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) chanpions all aspects of manufacturing in Scotland. The guest speakers at the awards were Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise Ivan McKee and Panther M*lk founder Paul Crawford and hosted by writer, actor and comedian Sanjeev Kohli
