A Dark History has returned for summer 2023 Starting Tuesday 4th July, 6 pm

It’s cheap Tuesdays at DD Tours, we’ve brought back our original ‘A Dark History’ tour from 2016, and we’re running it at our 2016 prices of £10 per ticket! Only available on Tuesdays this summer, come and see the tour that started it all.

From riots and rebellions to disasters and sieges, this tour highlights only the very worst in our bloody battle for survival against overwhelming odds.

This tour explores the darkest days in Dundee’s past, starting on Perth Road with a story of riots and revolutions, followed by the tragedy of the Tay Rail Bridge disaster, ending with the tale of the bloodiest days ever seen in the city, at the Overgate.

Starting outside Duncan of Jordanstone College on Perth Road with the story of why Dundee was the only town to ever send a tree to prison, this was our very first regular tour back in 2016.

Returning on Tuesday 4th July, this is a limited run for this summer, only on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm.
