Rituals, the luxurious yet affordable Dutch brand specialising in products for the home, the body and the mind has confirmed it is opening a new store in Overgate, Dundee later this month, with the creation of nine jobs.

The internationally-renowned beauty lifestyle brand which was founded in Amsterdam in 2000 with a philosophy of turning everyday routines into more meaningful rituals, will offer desirable products to calm minds, indulge senses and energise bodies, as well as unique signature fragrances composed by the world's finest perfumers.

Located in the former Carphone Warehouse unit, the store will offer home scents that uplift and soothe, high-performance skincare to restore and revitalise, and exotic, luxury ingredients such as Moroccan roses, precious amber, wild fig, aromatic black Oudh and violet leaf across covetable speciality gifts that aim to elevate the personal wellbeing journey.

In what is being hailed as a strong vote of confidence in Overgate’s appeal as a leading retail destination, this announcement is the latest positive development for the centre following its recent acquisition by Frasers Group and a wave of other new store openings over the last twelve months including leading UK travel group Barrhead Travel, outdoor clothing specialist Regatta and popular gift and gadget brand Menkind.

The arrival of Rituals will further strengthen the proposition and footfall of the 420,000 sq ft centre at heart of Dundee city centre which houses over sixty retailers including high street favourites and independent, local brands, is open seven days a week, and offers 700 parking spaces.
