We are so excited to be able to share that we are now moving into 89 Commercial Street in the new year! (This is just across the road from where we are and will not cause any extra travel for anyone using our space.)
With this move comes some exciting stuff. We are going to have later opening hours to support the people in our community better. It has doors meaning that we will be warmer and that we will be able to offer a safer space for our community. There is full disabled access to the ground floor of the building with disabled toilet and wide accessible cubicles for everyone to use. As the space is bigger, we also hope that our layout will also better support those that need a bit more maneuvering space.
As Cake or Dice we will be supporting a range of charities, creators and other CICs to be able to freely use our space to run activities, workshops, meetings etc. as they need. We are also going to become a mini - students union to support Abertay and Dundee University students. All of this and so much more with drop-in clinics with social security Scotland and more. In all we are creating a mini community hub and will not only have all the fun of the café but also the support system that all the groups combined can offer.
